A Logo Built on Craft and Heritage
When Alex Claude came to me for a fashion logo design, the brief was clear and the stakes were real.
The brand needed to communicate elegance, precision, and timeless quality. It was positioning itself as the choice for a discerning gentleman who sees his footwear as a reflection of who he is — not just what he wears.
The target customer was a successful professional, 30 to 55, who invests in quality and expects the brands he wears to reflect that standard without shouting about it.
Before I touch a single sketch in any logo design project, I do serious research. For Alex Claude, that meant studying:
- Heritage luxury brands and their visual language
- The history of men's formal footwear and its design codes
- Where modern fashion logo design is heading
- Symbols tied to craftsmanship, nobility, and lasting quality
One thing stood out clearly. The strongest luxury logos use geometric forms that become instantly recognizable on their own. The fleur-de-lis kept surfacing — a symbol of heritage and excellence that aligned perfectly with what Alex Claude stood for.
Symbol Development
I started with the diamond. It reads as precision, luxury, and permanence. Setting the fleur-de-lis inside it created a mark that balanced old-world craft with a clean, modern edge.
The diamond also mirrored the attention to detail that goes into every Alex Claude shoe. That alignment between the product and the symbol is what makes a logo feel inevitable rather than applied.
Typography Selection
I chose a clean serif for the logotype — elegant, but never fussy.
Letter spacing was tuned carefully so the name reads with authority at every size, from a small shoe stamp to a full-scale packaging panel or campaign banner.
Symbol Development
Color Palette
- Rich browns reflecting the natural leather
- Gold accents symbolizing luxury
- Cream undertones for sophistication

The Final Fashion Logo
The final Alex Claude mark brings together three things:
- A diamond emblem with the fleur-de-lis nested inside concentric diamond outlines
- Clean, confident typography with deliberate letter spacing
- A design that holds up in monochrome, embossed, or with metallic finishes
What makes this brand identity strong is its range. It works stamped into leather, pressed into packaging, or scaled up on a campaign visual — and it never loses its character.
The diamond-and-fleur-de-lis mark can stand entirely on its own when the name isn't needed. That kind of symbol strength takes intention to build.

Kenal Louis
Since I could hold a pen, drawing has been my first language. That love for art led to graphic design, which led to brand identity work. For 15 years I've helped businesses look the part as a logo designer for hire — and I'm still just as deliberate about every mark I create.

3D Rendering Development
Once the fashion logo design was locked in, I moved into 3D rendering — showing exactly how the brand identity would live on the actual product.
The renderings had to do three things well:
- Show the premium materials and the level of craft in the shoe itself
- Demonstrate how the logo integrates onto the product naturally
- Build a consistent luxury feel across every marketing touchpoint
I used advanced 3D modeling to produce photorealistic images from multiple angles. Every rendering placed the logo with intention and let the fine material details speak for themselves.
The geometric gold backgrounds in the renderings echo the fashion logo design, pulling the whole visual system together into something that feels cohesive and unmistakably premium.
Packaging Design
The brand identity extended naturally into packaging. The box was designed as part of the same visual system, not as an afterthought. It features:
- The embossed logo on a rich brown exterior
- Pattern work drawn directly from the diamond and fleur-de-lis motifs
- Gold accents that reinforce the luxury positioning
- A bold red interior that creates a genuine moment of delight at first open
The contrast between the restrained exterior and the vibrant interior reflects the brand itself — rooted in tradition, but with real personality underneath.

Thank You for Taking the Time to Read About This Project
Thanks for reading through this fashion logo design case study. If you're building a footwear brand, a clothing line, or an accessories label and need a mark that does real work, I can help. Browse my logo design examples to see how I've approached other brand identity projects across fashion and beyond.
Every brand I work with gets a logo built for them specifically — not adapted from something generic. Whether you're a small independent label or an established product brand ready to rebrand, the goal is the same: a mark that makes people stop and take notice.
A well-crafted logo is often the first impression your brand makes — on a hangtag, a website, a product page, or a social post. That first impression is worth getting right.
Fashion brands need logos that hold up everywhere — from a small embossed stamp on leather to a full-scale backdrop at an event. Custom fashion logo design, done properly, performs at every scale without losing its character.
